Privacy and site disclosures

This page describes the site’s current features in plain language. Crown & Ledger is hosted on WordPress.com and uses Jetpack and custom learning tools. For privacy questions, email crownandledger.com@gmail.com.

Information you choose to provide

If you email us, your message and email address are available to the site owner and the email service used to receive it. If you subscribe to the newsletter, WordPress.com/Jetpack processes the email address and subscription request. Use the unsubscribe option in newsletter messages to stop email updates.

If you use signed-in member tools, information you enter may include public wallet addresses, watchlists, learning progress, and manual transaction records. Avoid entering private keys, recovery phrases, passwords, or unnecessary personal information. Wallet addresses and blockchain activity can reveal financial information even when publicly visible.

Hosting, cookies, and external services

WordPress.com and Jetpack may process technical information and use cookies for functions such as sign-in, subscriptions, site operations, and measurement. See Automattic’s privacy policy and cookie information. Your browser settings can control cookies, although some functions may stop working.

External news links, video links, product links, payment services, and market-data providers have their own terms and privacy practices. Following a link takes you to that provider. Public market or blockchain information may be requested when using research tools.

Read-aloud and children

The optional read-aloud feature uses a local voice reported by the visitor’s browser. Crown & Ledger does not use a paid narration API or upload article text to an audio service for this feature. If a local voice is unavailable, the page remains readable as text.

Family activities are intended for adults to use with children. We do not ask children to open financial accounts or send us personal information. Adults should supervise any activity involving online services.

Commercial disclosures

Crown & Ledger uses Ledger affiliate referral links and clearly labeled affiliate advertisements. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through these links. Ledger uses referral identifiers and may use cookies to attribute purchases under its own privacy and cookie policies. The banner does not require a wallet connection. Other compensated links, gifted review units, and sponsored placements are identified where relevant. Compensation does not buy a favorable review or change our stated testing status. Purchases and fulfillment take place with the vendor. Updated November 4, 2026.

Requests and updates

Email crownandledger.com@gmail.com to ask about information you submitted, corrections, or account-related deletion requests. The site owner will assess the request, verify identity where necessary, and work with the hosting provider as appropriate. Do not send a password or identity document unsolicited. X and voluntary support

The homepage offers an optional X timeline from @crownandledger. Loading it connects your browser to X and its providers; their privacy and cookie policies apply. You can use the direct profile link without loading the timeline here. PayPal and Venmo links and QR codes open payment services outside this site. Those services process payments under their own terms; Crown & Ledger does not collect card details through these links.

Educational scope and browser practice

David is not a financial adviser. Crown & Ledger provides general education for New York readers under U.S. federal and New York rules, not personalized investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. We do not execute trades, arrange a loan, take custody of visitor assets, or determine a suitable allocation. Provider terms and law can change; check the dated primary sources and seek qualified advice for your own circumstances.

Guest training can store completed lesson identifiers and a self-check result in local browser storage. It does not store wallet secrets or financial account details. It stays on that browser, is separate from signed-in progress, and can be removed through the browser’s site-data controls. If storage is unavailable, feedback still works for the current page. Opening a public explorer sends the lookup to that service; the learning lab does not add it to your member wallet list.
